Non ho alcun dato sul consumo delle batterie (se ben ricordo è dotato di una 18 Ah e di una 24 Ah).

Inserisco il sintetico resoconto di viaggio che mi ha inviato Tony:
"I started out from the town in which I live called Naas. From there I cycled east to the next town, Blessington, where I turned south on a busy road known as the N8.
I traveled this road for about 15 km until I came to a signpost for, Hollywood, yes Hollywood. It is a small village at the base of the Wicklow mountains, and it was at this stage of the journey that I began to encounter the steepest hills of the trip, getting a good run at them and switching to high assist made it easier than I first thought. I was very pleased with that.
After getting up and over these initial hills, the terrain leveled off somewhat, but I was still climbing and eventually I arrive at the highest point of the journey where there is a viewing area where one can look and take photos of the surrounding scenery, This place is known as the Wicklow gap.
From here on it was downhill all the way to my destination,Glendalough. So much so that I reached a top speed of 58.3 km/ph. I was glad I had good brakes on the bike.
Glendalough is a huge tourist attraction. Thousand of people from different countries visit here every year.
My return journey was just as enjoyable. A long hill climb from Glendalough back up to the Wicklow gap. The photo of the bike was taken just below "the gap" on the Glendalough side. It was down hill again for the most part back to Hollywood and eventually home.
50km to Glendalough and 50km back.
A great day of cycling altogether.

Grazie a tutti per i commenti (spero che Tony li legga).
Sicuramente in Irlanda un clima così soleggiato è abbastanza raro vederlo, ma questa estate ci ha riservato dei periodi molto lunghi di sole ed è probabile che l'influsso africano sia arrivato fino ad interessare il nord-europa.

Che posti meravigliosi, adoro il Nord Europa, avrei pure voglia di farci le ferie, ma appunto il brutto tempo è sempre in agguato, e l'idea di farmi 10 giorni di pioggia su 2 settimane di ferie, come mi è già successo in Norvegia, mi trattiene dal tornarci.
Certo che quando il tempo è bello i posti sono veramente stupendi |

l'estate che io attraversai l'Irlanda, in auto e non in Kalkhoff, il tempo era di un bel grigio grigio... |

Tutto bellissimo e grazie per le foto. Anche la bici è molto bella, a parte il bauletto rigido che proprio non lo digerisco.Fa troppo scooter |
